I gave up smoking and found the only way was the good old cold turkey. Found it the easiest of all.

All these stop smoking products just substitute one thing for another. After 72 hours the nicotine is out of your system and then its all pyschological.

Give it a go.. its really not that bad just be positive and if your determined to give up i'm sure you will.

I smoked 15-20 a day for 16 years and gave up 3 years ago.
A friend took them and it had a bad effect on him, made him really depressed so be careful. He seemed to find them really effective, didn't want to smoke after just a few days.

I was going to try them but decided against after hearing how they may have effected him and am going to try patches again as quit for 4 months on them before.

Think a lot of it is psychological and your really wanting to stop mentally, I think that is what makes the difference.

How long have you been on them?
If you have a history of depression then don't take them, they have recently been investigated as having a link to suicidal tendencies.

Hi all, thank you for your replies. I am now on day 6 and to be honest, the cravings have abated slightly. I've been having strange dreams but not nightmares. Think the dosage doubles in a few days.

Wish me luck!

X.
