Where can I buy one of those adapters which screws onto the ends of two toothpaste tubes so that the residual contents of one can be transfered to the other?

I'm curious as to why you don't just put the residual contents directly onto your toothbrush before opening the new tube?

Its a problem of travel comitments and the lifestyle I lead, I travel extensively bags are packed and repacked repeatedly and its always toothpaste that gets left behind, new tubes bought, and subsequently deposited in one of the 4 places I stay. When it gets to more than a dozen it just irritates me to distraction that there are masses of half used tubes everywhere. I saw this widget some years ago and for a few pence if I can find one it will tidy all of the bathrooms I stay in :-)
I see your point. There are patents for a device such as you describe, but I haven't come across anything like it in my travels, except for a whole kit of stuff like this.

On the other hand, there's an alternative to be found here.
