where can i buy a dual voltage kettle for the usa and other appliances that can be switched over to a different voltage? i would like a normal size kettle, not one of those that just makes 2 cups. thank you!

A UK 230 v kettle will work in the US on 110 v. But it will take something over twice as long to come to the boil. On the other hand, what's wrong with buying a cheapo one in Walmart once you get there?

i didnt see a kettle at all when i was in the states, though i didnt go in walmart. all i saw everywhere we coffee percolators ie hospitality coffee in hotel foyers, coffee at the hairdressers and at peoples homes, they dont drink tea! sometimes though i just like to use a kettle to quickly boil water to put in a pan to then boil rice, veg etc.
