My wife will be attending a wedding soon, she has tried on various hats, but unfortunately all have been too large for her head. Any ideas on how she could alter any purchase to fit. She does not want to wear a facinator.

cant she get her head measured ? or go to a child or teenage shop and wear one can she not put pins through the hat to make it fit > or velcro??? im not sure x
If it's nearly a fit, one can place a ring of carboard inside the "sweatband" on the inside of the hat... assuming it has one...
Has she tried hiring one? I did that once and had a very good choice.
Why does n`t she wear another kind of head decoration instead of a hat. There`s lots on the market. I`m sure somehere like B&H or Debenhams would have lots to choose from.
Jaques Vert used to sell little padded strips to stick inside hats to make them smaller. I used them and they were great.
