buying on e-bay

i have just purchased an item on e-bay and am completing guarantee form.
have got to --where was this purchased?
as i will have to enter e-bay am wondering if this will be acceptable.
any answers much appreciated, thanks

It's probable that if you bought from an individual, and you have no registered retailer's shop receipt for 'proof of purchase', the manufacturer could claim it to be a second-hand purchase, thus negating any guarantee.
But if you bought from a recognised retailer, they should have included a dated invoice with the item showing their name and address. In this case you'd be OK.
