Recommended Places To Buy A Laptop? NOT pc world

..........had such bad service from PC World a year and a half ago that I vowed never to return. Now my current laptop is packing up. My question is this.....where would people recommend buying a laptop from??

i got mine from a small local compnay and have been so glad i did, after a bit of haggling i managed to get a good laptop at a price comparable to any big company - what has been invaluable is the after care ive recieved - on the one ccasions that the laptop crashed they fixed it within a few hours and when i wanted help with setting up a wireless connection they helped me over the phone! i'd always reccomend buying local!

i ordered my on line from dell its been great no problems at all had it almost 2 years.

Hope this isn't too late - I'm using a laptop from rock (www.rockdirect.co.uk) - they give an excellent online service.
