photo frames (don't have to be silver)-can get some lovely ones, try to go with the decor / colour of their living room.
Or photo album.
or nice vase, you can even buy the flowers to go in it.

I got my friend and her husband a cocktail shaker (well it's silvery in colour), with all the bits to go with it - a measure, stirrers, umbrellas, cocktails glasses etc.
