bought a cooker from them. They promised (on the website) 7-12 working days.
They charged my card on the day of ordering, and it will be 3 weeks until the cooker arrives. They said when I complained that they say 7-12 working days from when they receive the goods from the manufacturer. Not what the web-site says.

3 weeks is 15 working days, so not that far off. I dont get what you are asking though, are you wanting advice on how to complain?
I can't see that being legal. Taking that explanation to it's extreme,it could be days, months or even years. Maybe a job for trading standards or some such department. I'm pretty sure ambiguous adverts aren't allowed
also, ive just looked on that site and it says usually delivered with 6-12 working days, but they cant garuntee that so dont book fitters etc. Then in the next paragraph they gve themselves up to 30 days before you can ask for your money back because its been too long
also, you have to accept terms and conditions before they carry on with your purchase on the website, so i'm afraid you have no leg to stand on

more of a warning than anything else.
It's legal to take the mney, but most reputable companies don't.
