japanese girl in england with dolls title?

im looking for a childrens book about a little japanese girl who was sent to live with a family in england for some reason. while there she made a little garden for two japanese dolls she had. they were both grownp up dolls as opposed to baby-dolls and theyre names were 'madame' something! at the end of the book the girl eats a peach and in the stone of the peach is a baby doll for the two lady dolls to look after. i don't remember the title or author so either would be helpful!

The book title is Miss Happiness and Miss Flower and it was written by Rumer Godden.
