I prefer a cup and saucer to a mug, and want to buy some pretty, every-day ones (I do tend to break china, so not expensive please). But where can I find some, with a pretty chintzy pattern, at a reasonable price? I need eight cups, sauces and plates. I've looked on eBay but nothing catches my eye.

You could do worse than your local market. Either that or have a look round a few charity shops or car boot sales. These are all good sources of cheap but 'wholesome' china.

Not had a chance to go to any boot sales, none in my local charity shops but I am looking Cath Kidston although beautiful is far too expensive when I tend to be heavy handed with the washing up ... Thanks though everyone. Anyone seen anything online?
How about Debenhams?
