Is it just me, or does the elastic in knickers, socks etc etc shrink the more you wash them?


I've only noticed this in the past few years, I'm sure it never used to?

Nothing to do with (now don't take this the wrong way!) you putting on weight perhaps???

Yes it does loose it`s elasticity with wear & washing. The worst one is the sewn in kind you get in knickers, pj`s etc.

Tumble drying shrinks elastic. I never tumble dry socks, or t shirts with lycra in them.
