Does anyone remember Speedy Duck shoes which were popular in the 80's amd what ever happened to them?

Yes, I had a pair, probably in the late 70s, very soft and comfortable. No further information I'm afraid; it was trying to find an answer to the same question that brought me here.
I suppose that means they're not available any more. ******!
My dad had a pair for about 20 years and lived in them. When they finally fell apart, my mum made him throw them away and he almost cried because they were so comfortable.
I have been looking out for them for the last ten years so that I can replace them for him, so if anyone does find out, please, please let me know.

Yes I have a red pair of speedy ducks with velcro fastening. they must be 30 odd years old, did try to ask at Clark's shoe shop where I bought them how old they were but they denied ever sellingn them

Well, that was then. My Gran used to wear them and passed them onto my mother when she bought new ones. Now I want them!
