I have a very sore blister on my heel, Do they make a heel pad to put in the boot (mens) or is there something out there that will help me to wear my boots without it rubbing.( my boots are Ammo boots, or army hobnails)

thanks in advance. wayne.

You buy heel cushion pads, and gel pads from places like superdrug and boots, make sure you position them correctly first time!
try the scholl range online or in local chemist. i bought a spray almost like an anti freeze (lol) that numbs it, and just kept putting on loads of germalene, vaseline that kinda thing. They do good cushioned pads, i put a couple on to pack it after spraying first. I had that problem with my army boots, are you new to the service you are in by any chance? Also this may sound mad and more painfull but the more you wear them the easier it will be in the long run. Your boots need a good 'wearing in'. Hope this helps xx
Also was just speaking to someone there about that and he says to try to get a pair one size bigger than you have already got (boots) and wear 2 pairs of army issue green socks the thickest ones, be carefull of athletes foot tho :-) lol as you may sweat with this option xx
Can you wear a comfortable pair of shoes while your heel is getting better? Put a normal plaster on your heel until it heals (sorry) then sort out your Ammo's with some type of cushion pad. Try putting salt water on your heel so you don;t get an infection.
