i bought my ipod mini last march..may..sometime. either way it is still inside its year warrenty. anyway. its been going wrong, the battery is acting odd. so i would like to do what most my friends have had to do, and send it back. i realise apple have stopped making ipod minis, and i would be happy to accept money. do you know if this is how it works? has anyone else done this? also i was considering buying an ipod, with more space. but are ipods prone to going wrong as well? thanks for your help

I've just got mine back after only one week and they've sent me a brand new one so i presume they still have some ipod mini's left.
You may get a repair, replacement, credit or gift vouchers but highly unlikely you will get your money back.
hey swizz. mine did exactly the same. the battrey just kept going wrong. so i took it into the apple shop in regent street and they replaced it so there must be some left. and ipods are prone to battery failure but the newer ones lesslikly than old. id get one as apple acknowledge this problem and usually replace battries on ipods so you shudnt worry. go for the nano and you may have heard that nanos are easily broken. this is not true some are there was a dogy lot sent out but they recalled them and now all nanos are extremly durable.
