Can you use any other type of bulbs besides verilux in a happy lamb? I bought a Philips gu24 but I’m not sure if it’s suitable for this purpose

Not come across a happy lamb light. But SAD lamps are special. Maybe take the bulb to a lighting shop and ask if there are generic versions ?

Think that should read happy lamp. A Happy lamb is a small woolly animal that can be seen frolicking in fields in the spring. :-)

If it has the right fitting any full spectrum bulb cool white tone should work. Avoid full spectrum blue tone of you suffer from migraine.

The Philips GU24 is a rather bulky "compact fluorescent" lamp bulb....and all the SAD lamps that I have seen use LEDs. So, I doubt that it is a suitable alternative.

My sister uses a light box during the winter as she is affected by SAD.
