When I ordered a new dishwasher it arrived the following day. We unpacked it only to find that I’d ordered the wrong one. My mistake entirely. I called AO and quickly got through to a real human being - and a very pleasant one too - who stayed on the phone whilst I trawled through the AO website and found a replacement. That was delivered the following day and the ‘mistake’ taken away. No fuss, no arguments. AO is the most helpful company I’ve ever come across. Brilliant.

Appliances Online.

Excellent company. Used them for a 'fridge, washing machine and dishwasher when I had my kitchen refitted earlier this year. Good service and very competitive prices. Appliances Direct is another good alternative.

Like all online stuff you have to buy "blind" but there are plenty of places you can do your research.

My only misgivings about buying electrical goods online, is the after sales service. If I do have problems how do they remedy them?

Faulty products

The above is from their website but they are as good as they claim to be. My son had a dodgy television, he called Ao and got an engineer the next day who checked the tv and ordered a new one for delivery the following day.

Thanks. Washing machines are easy, I was thinking more range gas cooker and American style fridge freezer. But I'll see if I can spot anything.
