Just watching GPS programes and there I seem to think Naproxen are handed out freely as painkillers. I am have been getting them for some time but they are no good. Do you think Naproxen are similar to Ibruxen or that Ibruxen is better - I go for the poundsland ones.

Both are non steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) It depends which one works for you. I have heard that Naproxen is harder on the stomach but I don`t know how true that is.
I think Naproxen is slightly harder on the stomach than Ibuprofen, however JJ you have mentioned IBS and yesterday possible Crohns - so pain relief should be tailored with that in mind.

Naproxen doesn't touch me pain wise.
I liked Diclofenac but they seem to have been taken off the prescriptions list. Naproxen is the next best thing but is a pain in the stomach!
I have never heard of Ibruxen, sorry, i am going to assume that you mean Ibuprofen, and as such both Ibuprofen and Naproxen are non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (pain killers) as mentioned by the above posters.
One just cannot compare the efficiency of both drugs without knowing for what reason they are being taken and in what dosage.
