I had to change trains at Cardiff yesterday afternoon, at about 17:00 and it was near pandemonium on the platform, with 1000's of football supporters all trying to get on the same train ! Almost entirely boys and teenagers....I doubt there were many boys 13-14+ in school yesterday !

They were high-spirited but not drunk or too rowdy, and not really a problem. But I had to stand, packed in like a sardine all the way back to Swansea. It seems that the train companies could have put a few extra carriages and/or trains on yesterday.

But my small difficulty yesterday is nothing compared to the regular problems that commuters into London have, everyday of the week !
