Are you talking abou collar straighteners?

Most shirt shops sell them.

You do remove them before laundering, don't you?

Your washing machine must love you!

Well it is a communial one we use ion a hotel at the moment.
I know my local Charles Tyrwhitt store sells collar stiffeners since I've bought some there.
You could use ice lolly sticks as an alternative.
I remember seeing an advert for sterling silver hallmarked ones.
Yeah, that'd make you check before bunging into the washing machine !

Might want to give them a quick swill beforehand, though... :P

I've seen them in Next.
And here they are. Just goes to show that some people have more money than sense

They're not going to be much good if you can't get them out of the box. I'd go with the lolly sticks.
The silver ones don't get bent by hot water in a washing machine, so you save money over about twenty years!
you live in a hotel ?
Not that you'd put your shirts in the washing machine with the colour stiffeners still in place.

Strictly speaking you only really need one set as you move them from yesterday's shirt to today's!

I thought you owned your French home?
^^^ Collar not colour.
you own a french house ? :)
Eccles, you are not a bloke. Take the stiffeners out, indeed! And what are the chances of a man thinking to do that every time?
Mr Cake isn't very disciplined but his collar stiffeners are brass and he does take care of them.......that and the laundry check for him!
