Purple Jeans

I had a mad moment this week and bought a pair of purple jeans. I took a liking to them and was rewarding myself for being able to get into the next size down.

Now what am I going to wear with them? I need a couple of new tops but can't quite decide what would go best with my lovley new purple jeans.

My daughter has a pair of purple jeans, she loves them, she has a purple jumper, a pink jumper, a grey top and a back top which she wears with them, not all at the same time though ;)

I bought a pair of Levi's yesterday, I nearly fell though the floor, 80 friggin quid! :(

I was thinking of a grey cardigan/black top. Or maybe white top or black jumper.

I'm not quite brave or young enough for a pink top with purple trousers but I have seen a black and white spotted top, might brave that.

Must remember not to wash them with anything light - at that price they're sure to run.

I'm going to get a pair, I plan on getting a a long black jumper and wearing my black knee high boots with them.... Of course this will mean going shopping so it's probably not going to happen immediately.

You know I don't really like grey hopkirk i in hindsight it would make me feel miserable to wear a grey jumper.

Maybe I could go for black or white on the top and jazz it up with a raspberry coloured scarf or crimson necklace.

Good for you Maidup. One of my lifetime regrets is not buying a pair of pink jeans some years ago. I still don't know why I walked out of the shop without them. China's combo sounds fab!

Prudie - there are loads of coloured jeans about now. Many are "skinny" jeans but if those are not quite for you then the normal cuts are available in the traditional shops and even sopermarkets. Get a pair this weekend its not too late!
