Times are hard people and I have many birthdays coming up (mainly kids birthdays ages 1-3 years) I don't have much cash but I DO HAVE a £40 gift card for Currys and PC World! Although I don't think it will stretch to an ipad does anyone have any good ideas of possible gifts I can get for a 1 year old and a 3 year old? Was thinking of getting pre-school software for kids but I was also wondering, would you be insulted if someone bought something really educational for your toddler? Does it say "I think your child is a bit remedial?"

I wouldn't be insulted at all. In fact, I would really appreciate something educational as they would probably receive lots of toys and clothes from relatives anyway. My children loved the educational software when they were younger but you would have to buy something geared for their age group and check they have the actual machine to run the software on otherwise it would be pointless.
