It is picking up here in the Lothians so we have battened down the hatches - not nearly so bad as the gales we used to suffer when we lived in the inner Hebrides.
I think that it is due to peak fairly soon.

It's been blowing a hoolie all day today. The fence is on its last legs and the polytunnel is looking a little peculiar. I hope it drops soon.
