Its my son's 21st Birthday today - it was 21 years ago today that I was in the delivery room, swearing at anyone that entered the room - I told Mr. Den to f...k off and stop wiping my face with that f....king flannel. When son eventually arrived after being in labour for 48 hours - they said would you like us to place him on your tummy so that you can bond with him - I said NO, bring him back when he is ready for school....................
I know love him to bits...................ha ha ha
well thats if he brings my car back on one piece after his weekend away in Liverpool.....
Congrats! I always laugh when they portaray childbirth in t.v. and film as so easy... I helped my sister in law when she gave birth and it was NOT nice! xoxo
Bless you Den - nothing like the maternal instinct is there? You have made me smile though;o) I hope he has a lovely time - he probably will! Gratitude or what - pushing off for the weekend - perhaps he remembers the delivery room too ☺
That's made me laugh! Did you really say that to the midwife? Tee Hee!
Like I've said before, I had painless childbirth (except the last half hour pushing bit) and didn't utter a word or a sound throughout. Bizarre! lol
when pregnant with daughter number one the midwife came round to discuss my birthplan, She asked what pain relief i would like i just told her "put all the drugs you have on the table when i scream for them give me the fooking lot "!!!!!
