Reading Ric.ror's post about moving her shoes to the garage and my penchant for displaying my collection of blingy shoes reminded my of the time I asked my very young son to tidy his bedroom and do something with the shoes I kept tripping over.

It took some time for the noise coming from his room to penetrate...I was probably dancing to Rod Stewart...so when I did look in on him it was far too late to do anything about the row of shoes, slippers, trainers and school plimsolls that were now nailed, through the soles, to his bedroom wall.

If I have posted this before apologies.......I am really enjoying my medication.......☻

Love his creativity. What does he do as a career?
Well, he did what you asked. What more could a mother ask for?

Wolf....having failed at everything at school except sport and charming his way through to the end he started his own business which does require some creativity and he has been very successful...... buys his own shoes now though.

I've got a hole in my shoe ♫ ♫

dear gness chorus, all join in
dear gness ♫ ♫
Does he nail them to his own wall too? My youngest is autistic. If i said "do something with your shoes, so i don't trip over them", he would bin them.
Feeling better, though, gness? Or too high to care;-)
He really takes after his mum, thenI hope you're feeling better xx

Thanks, Slack...that will be going through my tipsy head all night now...☺

Too high to care, Pixie....will be back here at midnight asking who I am at this rate...sooooo fed up!

He was very literal...had to be careful how we said things. Once when he was carrying a very full glass of dripping juice I asked....Why don't you just pour all the juice on the floor and be done with it?....He did, in all innocence, because he saw it as an instruction.
Lol. Sounds familiar! Are you getting better? Don't want you to be fed up...:-(

I think I am better than I was, Pixie.... but it seems so slow......don't even really know what was wrong with me..... :-(

Hi, Psyb....He certainly was an accident prone child.....so much so that the hospital asked SS to investigate me...we were regulars at A&E at one time.
Sorry to hear you're still not well, gness but at least you're not grumpy.

No....but I once played Sleepy in a panto, Tilly...we had to fire raw sausages into the audience. I thought we could make them from tights but one of the members was a butcher and he donated lots of real sausages.
They hurt when hurled from a distance....we discovered..... ☻
Getting smacked in the face with a raw sausage is not funny........................I imagine.
...especially for vegans. I imagine :-)

It was a mistake....my cookery teacher slapped me with a wet fish once... for forgetting an egg...can you imagine the headlines now?
My Grandma did that to me once, she had just battered it and then she battered me with it. I howled!
...................but I was being cheeky.
Surprise, surprise.....
