I'm after a pair of brouges that are a kind of creamy/tan/grey colour but can't find any that aren't really expensive or from an online shop that I can't buy from.

Could I get a pair that's a similar colour to what i want then use polish on them to change the colour slightly? or is not reccommended due to the possible quality of the leather and mixing the two colours?

A kind of colour thats a bit of all of them, or possibly a pair with the different panels in those different colours . . .
Primark or top shop.
Why not just look like everyone else does?
Question Author
Because for them to colour coordinate with my clothes that's the colour(s) I would like.
Molly why don't you just go shopping and look for a pair? Cause chances are someone will show you a link to a pair that are just what you described but you won't want them and the thread will descend into chaos centered around yeah but no but but but but... Best just to go shopping and look. Bring your mam, make a day of it... Oh wait don't tell me, your mam is busy?
Question Author
Most links will probably be to shops that I couldn't go to or buy from online.

I've seen a grey pair on amazon for £13 and i have tan coloured polish. But it wouldn't work on patent shoes would it?
It's always yeah but with you Molly..
But but but but

I've looked and they're all either really expenisve or completely the wrong colour.
Have you tried any charity shops? Shoes are dear Molly.

Things that are still fashionable are rarely in charity shops IMO.
Search on eBay for options, but put BROGUES not brouges....

I know . . . I typed this up before I searched on ebay or amazon.

Was in a charity shop in town around 2 weeks ago and couldn't believe the amount of fashionable stuff they had...No brogues though...
Clarks have some for £55...............
