i've been told many times that boxing day is so called because in the distant pass (i do not know when) the opening of christmas presents (the boxes) did not happen till the day after christmas day ...... hence 'boxing day'
42. Is it that servants were given a Christmas box on December 26th?
billy bremner played for leeds (was captain at one time) in the 60's and 70's not 70's and 80's the same applies to him playing for scotland from 1965 -1976.
