I bought all mine the week after Christmas, as that's when they're remaindered at about a quarter of the price. The Christmas spirit runs deep in me.
I don't have the Christmas spirit deep in me - I am from Yorkshire

me too jno, whether or not bought in the sale or otherwise, it is one of the times when we , as a Christian country, enjoy our time and that is no slur at another culture but Christmas is one of the last things we have and can celebrate

The Christmas spirit is only as deep as my purse - sometimes the stamps cost more than the cards ;-)
Bah Humbug. I don't buy cards any more (except for a couple to elderly aunties) and only buy presents for very close family. I don't even say they 'C' word until after 1st December. We have a really nice meal and share the day with family and that's it. No mince pies, christmas cake or christmas pud. we don't like them. No Turkey! Just I nice big rib of beef and all the trimmings (no Christmas crackers either). And I now enjoy Christmas. Before I made the decision to almost ignore it, I used to get stressed out!!
Butch, I did them using the cling film method for brekkie yesterday. They fell apart, so I'll stick to my swirly water method.
