sitar song

I have had a sitar instrumental song whirring around in my head for years, it used to be on high rotation in Australia a fair few years ago. It starts as most sitar songs do quite sparsely and slow, then the tempo builds and it gets rocking. I gather its one of the Shankars or the beatles, have listened to so many songs and can't find it. Anyone out there can help me?

Hi there is an album by I think the name Ananda Shankar ( Ravi Shankars s son i think. Its from the 70s, very funky type psychedelic stuff which rocks! Hope that may be of some help. There is also strangly enough a song by Paul Weller of the same vein.
