meteorite impact sites (craters)

does anyone know of any meteorite impact sites (craters) in the UK that the general public are able to visit? they don't have to be big it's just my son is fascinated by this subject at the moment.

Having 'googled', it would appear as of 2002, we have only one. Bad news is its 80 miles out in the North Sea! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/2164058.stm

I have been to one in Germany when I went to Aalen to see the Total Eclipse in 1999 (didn't see it; rained all day, so it just went dark), but can't remember where. It was only about a 30 min drive from Aalen and we came upon it by accident. A village was sitting on the 'lump' in the middle of the crater and there was a museum in the village about the crater. I think it was about 2 or 3 miles across.
