I now, especially the first one, it looks like an overgrown Greek ruin or something. Would you ever in a million years have guessed it was from a snowflake? So cool.

They are fascinating.
I'm not sure whether it's true or not but it's often claimed that no two snowflakes are identical.
What is more fascinating (if you like Maths) is that a snowflake has a very small area but its perimeter is infinitely long.

maybe you are confusing real snowflakes with the Koch "snowflake" curve, which is infinitely long.
With real snowflakes, once you get down to the atomic scale, they do have a finite perimeter, if you can actually define such a quantity for atoms.
