No, it's flammable
I presume a Cork board uses the same type of cork as a old bottle cork? if so then No...... We used to use the end of a burnt cork on our faces as camouflage!
Cork is a natural material from the bark of the Cork Oak tree and this material has been known for donkey's years to protect the tree from death during natural wildfires.
However that doesn't mean it is fire resistant - it will smoulder and blacken. It is quite a good insulator (hence a poor conductor of heat) but is really only useful up to about 140 degrees C.

Keep cork to floor laminates. They are great for that.
I wouldn't use on any ceilings or above ground floor surfaces.
Cork contains a waxy substance called 'suberin' that is naturally fire resistant. That's why cork trees can remain relatively unharmed by fire. Cork is regarded generally in industry as being 'fire resistant'.
