No but I remember my late father telling me that in August, (around 22nd) if you go out into the garden you can see lots of shooting stars (my dad counted 22 in 6 minutes)

that would be the perseids meteor shower 237sj...they are due again in a couple of weeks...if you can stay awake and get a clear night they are rather spectacular..i think i read somewhere they are due on the 12th and 13th this month but im not 100% sure
Unfortunately Stoke, I live in SW London so I`ll see bu**er all. Oh, for the days when I used to live in the wilds of North Devon and I could see these things!

thats a shame 23 bl**dy light pollution eh?lol
Mind you, Stoke, a few years ago I was working (on a B747) and I went up to the flight deck on that night In August when there are all the shooting stars and I watched them out of the flight deck window at 35.000ft. What a show! Beats my bedroom window in South West London!
Dave - I honestly haven't moved them - I get the blame for everything that goes missing
Stoke, when is the meteor show due again? Hopefully I might be around and I can see it (even if I am in surburbia)
