There are debt consolidation sites that would help you in settling the debt. They provide assistance, who would speak up with the creditor and negotiate the terms. o the debtor could get relieved from the debt collector calls.

Put a "Sold" sign up outside and clear the front room out, leave a tiny gap in the net curtain so they can see inside, they`ll think you`ve moved and won`t bother you again
