I know i have seen documentaries on the subject and now can't let this one go. What is the scientific name for the condition seen in people with overly large faces? I think it's some kind of genetic disorder or hormonal imbalance.

wait... i have it, proteus syndrome
maybe 'moon' face where the eyes bulge......some have it due to prescribed drugs.
There is also acromegaly which is caused by some form of pituitary disorder.
you mean cheribsm?
Tigress, evidence suggests that the "Elephant Man" had Proteus Syndrome.
I was also thinking Cherubism 4get. There was a young woman featured in a documentary that had the condition.

I watched that documentary too daffy. It's amazing what some people have to endure.
I have so much admiration for these people with visual irregularities, as they have mostly adopted a healthy attitude to their conditon which needs a lot of courage in the beginning.

People (and children especially) will stare for which they can't be faulted, but it must be trying for those afflicted. .
I thought cherubism too.
I believe the correct term is "Lloyd-Webber Fizog"
