Is there any way you can stop the puds from deflating when you open the oven . Made some last night they were huge would be great if they stayed that way.

joe you shouldnt open the door till end of cooking time,i have a see through oven door so i can see how they are doing!
They say that adding a little vinegar to the batter mix helps stop them collapsing.
yep heath i put a dash of vinegar in my mix

Cheers for your answers , puddicat i never open the door until the very end but they still flop does the vinegar stop yours from deflating and will any sort of vinegar do cant wait to try cheers again Joe

they're ready when you smell them burning, then move to middle of oven with gas off - to dry out & firm.

Make sure the fat/oil is spitting before you pour the batter in
