Hello, I'm off to the Caymans in a couple of weeks - does anyone have any advice regarding astronomy and what I might see (or should look out for)?

You'll see most of the night sky looking much as it does in the UK, but 5 hours later. The Plough and Polaris will still be visible. To the south you'll see some 34 more of the present night sky than from the UK, but you'd see much of this from the UK later in the year anyway. (Earth's tilt/sidereal time).
The bonus is that there will be much less light pollution in most parts of the Caymans, tho' the higher humidity of the region could counter this a bit.
Click on where the cayman islands are for it to display what you will see. If it is a pale blue screen, just click on a few hours from now (after the sun has set) and it will display what you will see from where you are.
