Can any1 help with my daughters homework pls? The price of energy saving bulb is 6.99. The energy used per hour is 0.016 units. And the light used per hour is 0.003. From this information we are then asked 2 calculate the wasted energy per hour? But we are not sure how to do this. Can any1 help please?

im guessing the bulb uses 0.016 units per hour,
and in return emits the equivelant of 0.003 units per hour in visible light,
therefore 0.013 units are wasted as heat?
im probably talking rubbish tho

umm, ok thanks, lol. it cant be any worse than what we,ve come up with, i am useless at this sort of thin! So you have jus subtracted 1 away from the other? That may be right.. as we really hadn,t a clue how to approach it.
But what has the price of a light bulb got to do with this?
