Does anyone know where is a good place on the North Devon coast ? Or Cornwall ? to find Devonian/Carboniferous age fossils (esp corals). Staying in Clovelly next month (June 2008) and would like to spend some time collecting. Also looking to visit Watchet area, anyone got any tips for finding good fossils there ? Would particularly love to find anything ichthyosaur/plieosaur (doesn't look right....) related... Really just any relevant or not information would be very much appreciated.... Did you know that a group of 12 or more cows is called a flink ? weird huh ?
