Moon Landing Conspiracy
If NASA want to disprove the Moon landing conspiracy theorists, why don't they:
1. Go again; or
2. Just "drop in" on one of the Space Shuttle flights; or
3. Point a spy, sorry, observational, satellite towards the Moon and film all the bits that were left there - the flag, the bottom of the Lunar Module, the moon buggy, etc.
4. Let the Science Museum in London have a teeny weeny piece of Moon rock.

3: I did read somewhere that even with the best satellites they are two small to see and spy satellites look at the Earth not the moon.

Be fair to NASA. They have put forward some compelling arguments to back up their Moon landing record. Their best arguments are:
1. Go away.
2. We don't want to discuss it.
3. We have no time for this debate.
4. Lots of people still believe us, therefore it is true.
5. We DID fly to the Moon. Louder! We DID !!!!!!
6. The Government never ever ever misleads people.

The Moon landing "conspiracy" theories are a load of CRAP. Give me one valid evidence.
The chances of going to the moon were 50-50 when Neil Amstrong went to the moon. Actually we have better chances with going to mars at present.. What NASA lacks is the inspiration and the capital.
Plus latest research has found out the dangerous long term effects of the cosmic rays on the body of astronauts especially the young ones.

What NASA lacks is the money. What America lacks is the rationale.
Discovering America was done by hard-headed business people who thought they would make a fortune by getting a monopoly on the "quick" route to China. Business can now see a way of making money out of sub-orbital spaceflight. Until it can see a way of making more money out of orbital flight or trips to Australia, that's as far as it's going to go.
If we ever run out of something absolutely fundamental and can imagine we can source it cost-effectively from space there may be an argument for going further. Until then the scientific argument for manned spaceflight is never going to justify the cost. Most scientists would far rather the money spent in launching people be spent on launching bigger, better, more capable, unmanned spacecraft more frequently.
As for Mars being a better risk. NASA is having to go back to Apollo-era hardware to find out how they overcame certain problems, because institutionally NASA has forgotten how. The round trip to Mars is a year plus, minimum, so any cosmic ray effects are going to be much greater on that flight than on the moon missions. No one has yet demonstrated a closed-cycle ecosystem that would allow such a spaceflight to take place. Even the long-duration science lab experiments on Mir and the ISS were undertaken by people who knew that if push came to shove they could be back home in a few hours. Psychologically, no one has ever overcome the degree of isolation to which a Mars crew would be exposed.

1 They have superman which flies and can save The World from any possible disaster.
2 They have Spiderman too.
3 Then they have Rambo who can tackle whole army so they are not afraid of the aliens on the moon.
4 Then they have Hollywood to accomplish all of the plans.
5 Last but not least they have George Bush and someone only have to mention There is Oil on the moon and you see what happens.
Even if that does not work, then just put Just say that we saw Osama Bin Laden on the moon, and you know what�������������George Bush will speed towards his safe house to check if he is still there.

In fact there was a documentary on a couple of years ago asking the question of how you would go about faking it, the conclusion was that it is easier to go to the moon and get some.

I just dispair at the determination to believe this conspiracy cobblers in the face of comprehensive debunking of any of these claims. Do you "believers" of this crapola (thx Waldo) just ignore all the attempted reason in the face of your evident insanity?
