For a biology experiment, i'm growing Micrococcus Luteus and testing the effects of antibacterial substances on it. In my write up, I have related this to the MRSA epidemic and the need for antibacterial resistance against its spread.

Does anyone know if the growth of Micrococcus Luteus is a valid comparison to that of Staphylococcus Aureus? And if so, how? I know that in some cases M Luteus can cause diseases in people with low immunities. Is there any other ways I could link this, even if it was linking it to the spread of some other kind of bacteria?
