Hi all,

At dinner this evening my niece and I were discussing a piece of science homework she had been set. I helped her answer all the other questions except for number 4!

It probably has an easy answer however i just can't seem to figure out the questions after the line graph one!
Im not asking you to do her homework - so only if you hav time! :p

Thanks a millions! x Jakie H.

Well I can't help you with the graph or the mass of zinc used without knowing how concentrated the sulphuric acid was.

but zinc + sulphuric acid will give you zinc sulphate + hydrogen

Magnesium will give you magnesium sulphate + hydrogen

I think they're getting at the reactivity of metals and so they're looking for you to say that the reaction with zinc is quite slow but the reaction with magnesium is more rapid and generates more heat.
