I have an icon next to my signal icol like a small white box with a blue "swooshing" thing in it... sorry i know that sounds silly, anyone any ideas what this is?

Hi clarabelle_r

That sounds like the call divert icon, if you go into the "call settings" and deactiveate call waiting, the icon should dissapear.

That's your 3G signal. It'll disappear when you're in an area with no coverage. Hope that helps.
