Should be okay if you use a plastic polish.
I recommend MER. A great polish for classic and modern cars, boats, UvPC window frames.bathroom tiles, etc, etc.
Don't worry about the carbon fibres, what you'll be polishing is epoxy resin. As long as the polish you use is compatible with epoxy, you'll be fine.
