i need help with planning an experiment to heat cuco3 and collecting the volume of gas produced. what equipment do i need and how do i set it up and how do i provide full instructions on what to do so somebody can follow the experiment

Heres a starter, let me know how you get on. Look up experiments for making oxygen. MnO4+H2O2. This should give you an idea how to do it.

Look in any school chemistry textbook.
Put potassium in hydrochloric acid, that always helps
You need a gas syringe to collect the gas. Put a bung with a glass rod in it in the test tube or conical flask that you're using. Attach rubber tubing to the end of the glass rod and attach it to the end of the gas syringe which should be held in place by a retort stand and clamp.
