Had covid test on Wednesday, we both had to isolate until today. I went to hospital to have an endoscopy. Opted not to have the anaesthetic as it would have added an hour to the time I was in. I just had a spray. The procedure was not very nice. I have a very bad gagging reflux and I certainly showed them that. The consultant said things look ok on the surface but will contact me when he has seen the biopsies he took.
OH brought me home about 4.15 pm. I was hungry as hadn't eaten since 6.00 last night. Made up for it with some soup and a crime caramel.
This has all stemmed from my bout with neuropathy. I hope this will be the end of it all.
I'm pleased that things went reasonably well for you anyway. Let's hope that the biopsy results come back negative for anything nasty.
I've never had an endoscope stuck down my throat and I have to admit that I wouldn't relish the thought of it! (I've had plenty of things inserted into me over the past two years though, into a place that ladies haven't got!)
