Can someone tell me what HEPA stands for and the properties of HEPA filters please? Many thanks.

HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor and I think the idea is to stop very small particles from coming back into the air from your vacuum. There are lots of different sorts and if you are thinking of buying one you might want to research on line all the gen about microns and things and do some comparisons.
