So there were the Israelis and Palestinians awaiting the visit of Mr Trump early last week and shortly after he left there were rocket attacks and air raids in the area. Coincidence or what?

doesn't sound like coincidence to me. Trump's just told the Israelis - a first for any American president - you do what you like [eg tell me where to site my embassy] and I'll go along with it. So I'm expecting a few Palestinian deaths.
