Several times in the past my sister-in-law was driving her Fiat Stilo along a local road and at the same point of the journey the radio went off and the service light would come on regardless of the distance she had travelled.
I have recent bought a Peugeot 407 and I have the same problem with my radio when driving along the same stretch of road at the same point.
There are no overhead cables or any other obvious cause of interference, has anybody else experienced anything similar or does anyone know what can cause this.
Regards
Chris

Is there an airfield/airport near the road? The radar emitters have been known to interfere with car immobilisers to the extent that the AA etc just tow cars a few yards up the road and everything's fine.

No sorry, it is mostly farm land with a by-pass built on it.
