My dear partner is totally blind, but has very high standards when it comes to cleaning and stuff. Indeed he insists on cleaning the bath  before every single use! He won't change his mind about that- I'm just hoping someone can recommend a cleaner that is quite gentle on the hands etc but v good at getting rid of scale, dirt and scummy bits (not that there really are any, as he cleans so often!)

I do worry, as he sometimes uses neat bleach or very strong chemicals, but won't wear gloves- he also then sits and bathes in a bleachy fumed room (he can't smell either, as an accident made him lose his sight and sense of smell).

I know i could probably find out elsewhere, but wd really appreciate if you could recommend an easy to use (pref spray) non toxic, effective bathroom cleaner (that doesn't cost the earth)--THANKS!

I don't mean to be funny but if he can't see or smell and you are worried, why don't you fill an empty spray with soap and water and tell him its bleach. Sounds like OCD

I use this stuff to clean right round the house, economical, kind to th environment and does a good job.

QVC give you a 30 day trial period, if you don't like it send back the remainder and they give you back your dosh. I am on my second lot....no I don't work for simple Green or QVC!!!

Get him some flash wipes, they clean everything really well and they will be ok to use without gloves because i have used them and i have sensitive skin.

It's not as bad as it sounds G-Funk- it's prob cos we're in a hard water area, so anything resembling scale feels like dirt to him. He's not an obsessive compulsive about anything else- I guess he just wants to make extra sure he looks clean, smells nice and keeps the house in order.

Thanks for your tips, chaps- much appreciated
