Could the Earth be eventually swallowed up by a black hole and long before our sun burns out in approximately 5 billion years time.

There are probably more stars than black holes and so far we haven't been bothered by any of them . . . except for the one. ;o) http://hubblesite.org/explore_astronomy/black_holes/encyc_mod3_q7.html

Not by that one - we're in orbit about it!

Nearest known Black hole is about 3,000 light years away but finding them can be tricky there might be a closer one on a collision course but the odds are somewhat against it!

very unlikely.
Ah but you never know what they are really up to down the collider.
As far as black holes are concerned, I prefer to take a 'stick your head in the sand' approach.
No good worrying about it. In the words of a comedic song ♫Oh, we'll all go together when we go, Every hottentot and every eskimo♫
high energy collisions in the upper atmosphere are causing micro black holes all the time, they evaporate in nano seconds due to HR. The LHC is really just an attempt to create those collisions in an observable situation.
I knew Human Resources had to be useful for something.
